IDOSI, MEDWELL and BENTHAM OPEN have several journals in ISI Web of Knowledge, but Jeffrey Beall hates them and include them in its black list.
Who knows better the ISI (Thomson) with thousand of scientists and analysts or the felon Jeffrey Beall?

  1. Many good publishers are characterized as Predatory by Jeffrey Beall. But they are not. On the other hand, really Predatory Publishers are not included in Jeffrey beall (impostor) list.

Hindawi journals, these predatory journals, these piranhas of open access publishing are not inside the Jeffrey Beall list. Hindawi has recently launched with a new journal: Scientifica. http://www.hindawi.com/journals/scientifica/

Jeffrey Beall knows this journal, because it is reported in his blog ( I learned it from his blog). In this journal you can publish every kind of paper without real review. In their site they claim acceptance rate 73% while a week ago they claimed 85%. Even an 85% acceptance rate in an international journal implies that this journal is bogus. Jeffrey Beall has Hindawi in his list long time ago. Now, Hindawi, this piranha, does not have any problem to charge us with 1700 USD per paper. Jeffrey Beall protects it and this strange protection generates questionmarks. Can we know if Hindawi paid money for Jeffrey Beall
