After the comments of Prof. J. Roberto de Marca, we are sure that IEEEXplore removed 1100 Bogus Conference Proceedings from IEEEXpore!

A comment from Prof. J. Roberto de Marca has been uploaded in our site
Prof. J. Roberto de Marca is Professor in the prestigious Catholic University of Brazil
Prof. J. Roberto de Marca commented in our site in April 5, 2012:

Sometimes blogs are not reliable, but here IEEE people confess that 1100 conferences of IEEE were bogus

IEEE has already removed 1100 conference proceedings (> 500000 suspicius papers) from IEEEXplore electronic data base.

IEEE revealed to all academic community that 1100 conference proceedings were deleted from IEEEXplore data base. I wonder if these organizers of these 1100 conferences would make any lawsuits against the dirty IEEE.

After the comments of Prof. J. Roberto de Marca, we are sure that IEEEXplore removed 1100 Bogus Conference Proceedings from the starnge and suspicius IEEEXpore-bogus data base.

  1. Do not trust IEEE at all. They gave again IEEE sponsorship to the absolutely Junk ITAP conference ITAP 2012 http://www.itapconf.org/2012/
I had received an email that IEEE retracted the co-sponsorship from ITAP
and today I received this email:

    IEEE -ITAP2012---CALL FOR PAPERS
The 3rd International Conference on Internet Technology and Applications

The 3rd International Conference on Internet Technology and Applications (iTAP 2012) will be held from August 18~20, 2012 in Wuhan, China. The ITAP 2012 conference proceedings will be submitted to Ei Compendex databases for indexing.

The ITAP conference proceedings (2010, 2011) had all been indexed by Ei Compendex.

The topics include, but not limited to the followings:
    ....

Conclusion: IEEE fake conferences will continue their tradition for accepting bogus papers, etc....
